Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's children was born in Woodland Hills, California in 1956. Her family consisted of a mother who was a housewife and a father who taught. Michael Dennis Kevin is her three elder siblings. At a young age, McCormick loved to sing and dance, and she would frequently perform puppet shows for kids in the community. She was crowned the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 and was approached via Pat Domigan, a talent agent from the Jack Wormser Agency. He requested that she be interested to be a part of the business of show production. McCormick found her first role as a leading actress in 1964. She starred in an ad campaign for Mattels' newest doll Baby Pattaburp. She subsequently starred in the role of Chatty Cathy in a commercial which was later adapted for the show Wind It Up and It's Breaks by The La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned to play the youngest daughter of the towheaded trio on The Brady Bunch. The show starred Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a new blended family. The show lasted five seasons. McCormick, in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice Published in 2008 McCormick disclosed that during the 5th season of the television show she almost lost virginity with her twin brother Barry Williams. The actress was sixteen years old and the actor was aged 19 at that at the time. It was likely that we would have a romantic couple, she added. But the timing wasn't just right.
